Spider Plants Photo Addendum

After blogging about carnivorous plants that fluoresce, I just assumed that a plant labeled “spider” would be equally interesting. I watched and watched, but nothing happened. 

This young spider plant, usurping a wine glass,
kept reaching out but never while I watched.

I sneaked in and surreptitiously watched
this spider plant from above. Nothing.

I shoved this young spider plant against a window
and threatened to bury it in the snow. No reaction

I finally gave up and let the spider plants congregate,
hoping they might communicate. Still nothing. (By the way,
this starter collection of plants is a far cry from Vicki’s
Hanging Gardens, which we left behind during the move. Wait.)
