Sleep Patterns Photo Addendum

As noted in last Friday’s blog post, Sleep Patterns, sleeping 7 or 8 hours a night in one fell swoop is the gold standard. Nevertheless, there are occasional rewards to my segmented sleep schedule.

One activity I indulge in between my night’s short sleep and predawn nap is exercising. Jogging in the darkness last week, I was reminded that it was time for the annual Perseid meteor shower when “shooting stars” flashed across the sky on three successive days. It was a very cool reminder.

While I’m on the topic of sleep, I thought you might enjoy this YouTube video of sleeping dogs and cats. It’s about 2 minutes long and some are very funny. http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?feature=player_embedded&v=VRgQaOOZRo4
