Settling In Photo Addendum

Thanks to my wife, Vicki, settling into my new home, the apartment above the garage in the former barn, former carriage house on the Wisconsin farmstead, was a piece of cake. (Oh, she baked, too.) It was January and, my first week, bitter cold, but at least there wasn’t too much snow.

The view from the garage apartment’s living
room window, originally a barn hay loft door.
The view from a window in my new office.
Yes, I have an office, sort of.
My first look at the barn in winter.
A different view of the barn.
The road in front of the house.
The same corn field this week (top)
and during last summer’s visit.
The snow wasn’t deep enough to cover
the corn stubble. (Vicki’s photo)
